Formerly a photojournalist and editor for a number of nationally and
internationally distributed corporate publications for a Fortune
100 company, Marjorie holds a B.A. from the College of Fine Arts,
The University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, where she also has completed
some masters classes. She has been doing photographic work for
more than 25 years.
Her
photographs and accompanying stories and publications have
been distributed around the world, and her clients rave
about her "personal touch" in getting the shots
that tell the entire story. Whether the work involves shots
for a large organization, newsletters for school systems,
or one-on-one interview with brides that want to chronicle — in
their wedding storybook — photos from their special
day that begin in the beauty shop where they have their
hair done and makeup applied to that last shot of bride
and groom, driving away in the dark to begin their honeymoon
and new life together, Marge gets‘em all!
"I
get to know the clients, especially the bride, groom, and
their families before the wedding, writing a press release
for the newspapers, as well, completing a requirements
list and sequencing of events so that I’m clear on
what they don’t want as much as what they do want
in their final product. Because the bride misses so much
of her own wedding, my son and I work together to capture
the day so that it can be relived many years from now just
by cracking open their leather-bound book. The wedding
experience is a journey that begins with one, fabulous,
exciting, day and it’s always been my job to capture
that day, using top quality equipment, an eye for quality
and detail, and professionalism that has my clients recommending
my name to others decades later."

Simply
put, clients love Matt DeLuca, a photographer with an easy
style all his own.
Photography
has held a special place in Matt’s heart since he began
using his first camera at age 10. By the time Matt had reached
high school,
he was an accomplished photographer in both the studio and darkroom,
developing and printing his own photos.
Matt
attended The University of Akron, his parent’s alma mater,
and is following in his award-winning father’s footsteps
in making a name for himself as an accomplished photographer
in Northeast Ohio.
Matt
and his mother, Marjorie, work closely with brides and their families
to capture on film the special moments that are gone forever without
the DeLuca team behind the camera lenses.
Matt
loves the detail end of the profession, especially portrait work,
a great foil to his photojournalist mother, Marjorie.
"Mom
is so good she anticipates those split second shots before they
happen, because that’s her end of the business. For me, the
combination of light, technology, skill, and experience are an
art that — in the hands and eyes of the right photographer — can
make that photo sing.
"I
take great pride in using the highest quality films and the most
archival, longest lasting, and best printing methods on the market.
It makes me feel good to know my customers will enjoy their treasured
photos for many generations to come, instead of fading in 15
years like some of our competitors photos do."
